Integral Risk Management Program Control, Cost, And Schedule Dedicated Program Organization Data Items

From the onset, we assign a dedicated program manager who is responsible for program performance and has direct access to the highest levels of management, including the general manager. Our team approach empowers project team members with full authority to accomplish their tasks.

Curtiss-Wright program teams provide a level of communication and visibility rarely found in large organizations. One of the key benefits of this approach is that it enables team members to leverage the wealth of technical and business experience of our senior managers.

A complete set of management tools is employed to provide the necessary visibility into all areas of technical scope, schedule, and budget to ensure program success.

Contract Mandated Reporting

The program management team employs industry standard management and reporting processes and provides programmatic and technical reporting based on the individual program requirements. For programmatic requirements, Curtiss-Wright provides monitoring and reporting processes that track the program’s schedule and budget.

Curtiss-Wright’s technical reporting processes include First Article Inspections (FAI), maintaining a Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACS), and supplier audits for adherence to quality assurance requirements. To address the needs of end-customers and contracts, Curtiss- Wright participates in Program Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), System Design Reviews (SDR), and other meetings to provide support for its products and services.

Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

The Curtiss-Wright Earned Value Management System (EVMS), as mandated, is used for most programs, and meets the intent of the Industry Guidelines for Earned Value Management Systems ANSI/EIA-748-98. The EVMS system uses the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as its foundation. Frequency of reporting is defined by the contract.
